Strictly necessary / authentication cookies
Diemly uses authentication cookies provided through Supabase to maintain secure signed-in sessions. Cookie names and lifetimes may vary according to the authentication configuration.
- Purpose: strictly necessary — to keep you securely signed in, protect your account, and operate core booking and dashboard features that require authentication.
- Party: first-party on Diemly where supported by the authentication setup; some session handling may involve Supabase infrastructure as part of providing the service.
Cookies we do not currently use
- Analytics cookies: Diemly does not currently use analytics cookies to measure how visitors use the site.
- Advertising or behavioural tracking cookies: Diemly does not currently use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking cookies to profile you or show targeted ads.
If we introduce non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before those cookies are set.
Consent and cookie banner
Because Diemly currently relies only on strictly necessary cookies for authentication and core service operation, we do not currently show a cookie consent banner. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under UK and EU ePrivacy rules in the same way as optional analytics or marketing cookies.
Local storage and session storage
As at the date of this policy, Diemly does not generally use browser localStorage or sessionStorage to store client or barber personal information. Authentication session state is handled through cookies as described above, not through general browser storage of personal data.

Cookies used for authentication may involve processing that is also described in our Privacy Notice, including how long we retain account-related information and your rights in relation to personal data.

If you block Diemly's strictly necessary authentication cookies, you may not be able to sign in, remain signed in, or use authenticated client or barber features such as your account dashboard.
Public pages that do not require a signed-in session may still work without those cookies.

Exact production cookie names, domains, expiry times, and security attributes (such as Secure, HttpOnly, and SameSite) should be confirmed by manual inspection in a browser before this policy is published to Production. Do not treat this document as a substitute for verifying live cookie behaviour in your environment.
