1. About these terms
These Client Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you use Diemly as a client to view availability, make bookings, or manage appointments with a barber who uses our platform. By using Diemly, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use Diemly.
2. Who operates Diemly
Diemly is operated by Ethan Williams trading as Diemly( “we”, “us”, or “Diemly”).
- Contact email: diemlyapp@gmail.com
- Business correspondence address: [BUSINESS CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS TO BE ADDED]
3. What Diemly is
Diemly is online booking technology for barbers. We provide tools that help barbers publish availability and help clients request and manage appointments.
We do not employ barbers, operate barbershops, or provide barbering services. We are not a party to your appointment except as the provider of the booking platform.
4. Your relationship with your barber
When you book an appointment through Diemly, your contract for the haircut or other barbering service is with the barber (or their business), not with Diemly.
The barber is responsible for the service they provide, including quality, timing on the day, pricing, cancellations, and any in-person policies. Questions about your cut, lateness, or how a booking was handled should be raised directly with your barber.
Diemly is not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of barbering services.
5. Who may use Diemly
If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have their permission to provide their details and manage the booking.
You must provide accurate contact information so your barber and Diemly can send booking-related messages.
You agree to use Diemly lawfully and only for genuine booking purposes.
6. Client accounts
You may create a Diemly client account to view your bookings, manage your usual slot, and receive alerts linked to your profile.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
7. Guest bookings
Some barbers allow bookings without a Diemly account. If you book as a guest, you still agree to these Terms for that booking.
Guest bookings may have limited features compared with a full client account, such as viewing booking history or managing a usual slot across devices.
8. Making and managing bookings
When you choose a service, date, and time and submit your booking through Diemly, Diemly will try to create your appointment if the slot is still available.
A displayed time slot is not reserved for you until your booking has successfully completed. Another client may take the slot before you finish confirming your booking.
If Diemly successfully creates your appointment, your booking is confirmed immediately in the platform.
Displayed times depend on information your barber maintains in Diemly. We try to keep the platform reliable, but we do not guarantee that every slot shown will remain available until you arrive.
After your booking is confirmed, your barber may still need to contact you if circumstances require the appointment to be changed or cancelled, in line with their own policies.
9. Walk-in periods
Some barbers use Diemly to show walk-in periods when they accept clients without a pre-booked appointment.
During those periods, online appointment availability may be restricted or unavailable on their booking page.
Walk-in availability is an indication of when a barber may accept walk-in clients. It does not guarantee that you will be seen immediately when you arrive.
10. Usual and recurring bookings
Some clients reserve a “usual” or recurring slot — for example, the same day and time on a regular cycle. Usual slots are set up with your barber's agreement and may be paused, changed, or cancelled by you or your barber.
Recurring bookings are a convenience feature. They do not create an ongoing contract between you and Diemly, and they do not guarantee future availability if your barber's schedule changes.
11. Confirmations, email, and SMS
Diemly and your barber may send transactional messages about your bookings, such as confirmations, changes, reminders, and related alerts. These may be sent by email and/or SMS using the contact details you provide.
SMS messages are one-way appointment notifications sent from Diemly's sender. Replies to these texts are not monitored and are not supported. They are not marketing messages and do not use marketing opt-out instructions such as “Reply STOP”.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile provider.
12. Payments for haircuts
Diemly does not process payment for barbering services. Any price shown in the booking flow is for information only unless your barber tells you otherwise.
You pay your barber directly according to their accepted methods — for example, cash or card in the chair — unless they use a separate payment tool outside Diemly.
13. Acceptable use
You agree to use Diemly lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Provide false or misleading booking or contact details.
- Make repeated fake bookings, block availability maliciously, or harass a barber or other users.
- Attempt to access another person's account or data without permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform, including by automated scraping or abuse.
- Use Diemly for any unlawful purpose.
We may restrict access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
14. Account security
Choose a strong password and do not share your login details. You are responsible for actions taken through your account unless you tell us promptly about suspected misuse.
If you lose access to your email or phone number, update your account details or contact us so booking messages reach the right person.
15. Your information and privacy
We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Notice. That notice explains what we collect, why we use it, and your rights.
Booking details you provide are shared with your barber so they can deliver the appointment.
16. Account and data deletion
You may stop using Diemly at any time.
If you would like to request deletion of your Diemly account or personal information, contact us at diemlyapp@gmail.com.
Diemly does not yet provide automated self-service deletion for every category of data.
Some appointment information may also form part of your barber's own business or client records. We will handle deletion requests in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
For more information about your rights and how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Notice.
17. Availability of the service
We aim to keep Diemly available, but the platform may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
We may change, suspend, or withdraw features with reasonable notice where practicable. Your barber chooses whether to use Diemly; if they stop using it, you may need to book with them another way.
18. Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diemly is not liable for:
- The quality, safety, or outcome of barbering services.
- Acts or omissions of barbers, including missed appointments, cancellations, or disputes over payment.
- Losses caused by inaccurate availability, delayed messages, or temporary platform unavailability.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
19. Ending your use
You may stop using Diemly at any time.Existing confirmed appointments remain subject to your barber's policies unless rescheduled or cancelled with them.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the platform, barbers, or other users.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
If you continue to use Diemly after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. For material changes, we may also notify you by email or through the platform where appropriate.
21. Contact us
Questions about these Terms or how Diemly works as booking technology can be sent to diemlyapp@gmail.com.
For appointment-specific issues, please contact your barber directly.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing prevents you from bringing a claim in the courts of your country of residence if you are a consumer and mandatory local law gives you that right.
